This tutorial lets you assign a specific program to a specific processor. This is especially useful if you want to make let’s say Windows Media Player work on processor 1 and Word on 2. This sometimes helps if you want to let the computer not choke up. I recommend you don’t set processor affinity for media apps as they need all the power they can get. If you have a single core processor, you can assign the different threads.
